Dr. Dre, rapper, producer, and Beats by Dre founder, is worth at least $500 million, yet his eldest daughter, who claims to be destitute, doesn’t appear to get any. Dre’s daughter LaTanya Young said Daily Mail she lives in her car while her father retains his millions.

Dr. Dre’s daughter LaTanya Young says she hasn’t seen dad in 18 years.

Young, Dre’s oldest daughter from his marriage to Lisa Johnson, hasn’t spoken to her father since childhood, according to a Daily Mail exclusive. 

“I would have to go through his accountant or his right-hand man, I would never know whether he got my messages,” stated. “I have never had a direct line to him.”

“The last time I saw him was at my mom’s house at 20,” Young said. “The atmosphere was great. Dad, I want a relationship.”

His daughter said dad won’t give her money because she’s talked about him in the media.

Young told Daily Mail that she is “homeless and I’ve been reaching out to my dad for help…his lawyer has said that my dad doesn’t want to help me because I’ve spoken about him in the press.” Dre has previously paid her rent and allowance.

Young moved to California last month after losing her Nevada job and cannot afford an apartment.

“The wage is higher in California—there was no work in Nevada,” she remarked. There weren’t enough jobs.

She can’t even afford to keep her work-related rental automobile.

“The car is a pretty penny,” she told Daily Mail. The SUV costs $2,300 for three weeks, but I only paid for one. The car will be taken eventually.”

Young said none of her four children—Tatiyana, 16, Rhiana, 13, D’Andre, eight, named after his grandfather, and Jason III, three—have met Dre. Luckily, her kids can stay at friends’ houses and visit family and friends, but Young says things are growing worse.

“I’m trying to keep my head above water,” she remarked. “I’ve been in debt while.”

Young blames Dre’s absence on his Nicole White marriage.

As Andre Romelle Young, Dre married white in 1996. 

Young claimed of White, “She was very standoffish and mysterious,” and that White turned her and her sisters away from their father’s home as teenagers. “I got the impression she didn’t care to know any of us.”

Dre and White filed for divorce in 2020, highlighting Dre’s wealth, which upset Young, who stated she hasn’t received a penny from her father since 2020 despite financial difficulty. 

I just learned that he pays $300k a month for spousal support, which is uncomfortable because people ask me why. she said.

After acrimonious and public legal processes, White secured a $100 million divorce settlement from Dre, who was compelled to pay $300,000 a month in spousal maintenance.

Dre has not discussed his relationship with his oldest daughter.

I think he gave up. I don’t know why he abandoned me.Although Dre has assisted her before, she told Daily Mail she doesn’t know why. Young launched a $50,000 GoFundMe campaign in August 2021, raising almost $8500 before ending.
