Despite being taken off the pitch on a stretcher in the first half of the championship match, the 31-year-old’s Fast and Furious flair had pushed his nation through the tournament.
In Portugal’s seven games, Ronaldo scored three goals, matching Michel Platini’s record of nine goals in the history of the competition.
Ronaldo has also been living the high life this summer after making the game-winning penalty in Real Madrid’s Champions League final victory over Atletico Madrid in May.
During Conor McGregor’s training camp in Las Vegas, the former Manchester United player engaged in a sparring match in the Octagon with the Irishman. He demonstrated that he was still Cristiano from the block while taking advantage of a Jennifer Lopez appearance.
Ronaldo will miss Real Madrid vs. Sevilla’s Super Cup match on August 9 as he recovers from a knee injury that prevented him from playing in the Euro 2016 final. Ronaldo is currently enjoying a lengthy vacation.
