Cody Rhodes’ story came to an end at WrestleMania 40, but this is only the start. There was a very interesting scene on RAW after WrestleMania.

This week, Cody Rhodes opened WWE RAW by being introduced by Triple H in the ring. Cody was shown a video package, and then he was left in the ring to begin his first promo as king.

When The Rock cut Cody Rhodes off in the middle of his speech, he got a huge heel response. As soon as he stepped into the ring, the Philadelphia crowd started chanting “shut the f*ck up” over and over again. It had to be bleeped out on TV too.

Finally, The Rock said he was there to send flowers to Cody Rhodes. Philly also broke the record for having the most trash from trailer parks in one place.

It made fans very angry that they didn’t like The Rock when he raised his People’s Championship. It was clear that they didn’t want to honor The Great One.

The Rock then told the crowd that they could chant whatever they wanted since it was just him and Cody. When Dwayne Johnson told Cody about all the hard things he had to go through to get to WrestleMania, Dusty Rhodes was seen with a big smile on his face.

The Rock said Dusty was his hero and then said Cody’s new belt with his American Nightmare name plate looks great. Then he asked if The Rock could possibly hold the title.

Cody said yes when The Rock asked him to hold his title for a moment so they could switch them. While Johnson looked more closely at Cody’s title, he took it from The Rock and claimed it as his own.
