Only a few days before to organizing an extravagant celebration in the Hamptons for the Fourth of July, Michael Rubin, the CEO of Fanatics, was organizing another event with a star-studded lineup.
Athletes who were making their debut in the NBA Summer League met at Rubin’s celebration in Las Vegas.
Rapper Lil Baby was scheduled to play that evening, according to reports from earlier this week. It was also rumored that celebrities like comedian Kevin Hart and fellow rapper Meek Mill would be there.
NBA players from today, such as Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics and Joel Embiid, the league MVP, were also present.
However, three of the biggest names in this year’s NBA Draft were also expected to attend the celebration: Victor Wembanyama, the first overall pick, Brandon Miller of the Hornets, and Scoot Henderson of the Blazers.
Photographs of Wembanyama, however, have not surfaced; nonetheless, numerous shots of other attendees have.
Throughout the evening, Rubin was spotted with Lil Baby, NBA player James Harden, and former NBA player Jalen Rose, who was recently fired from ESPN.
Trey Young and Deebo Samuel, a wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, were among the other NBA celebrities present.
Photographs from the event included Jarace Walker, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and fellow first-round selection Jordan Hawkins. Wоmen’s basketball stars were also in attendance, including Australian Liz Cambage and LSU standout Hailey Van Lith.
A moment in front of the cameras was also shared by celebrities like reporter Taylor Rooks, rap artist Flavor Flav, and model Winnie Harlow.
