Austin Reaves, who debuted with the Los Angeles Lakers two years ago, has become an obsession among fans. His extraordinary three-point shooting and ability to contribute something extra to the team’s playing style have solidified his position in the rotation as the Lakers prepare to begin the regular season the following week.

However, his rise to prominence during his tenure with the 17-time NBA champions was anything but straightforward. Prior to his undrafted status with the Lakers in the summer of 2021, Reaves was not selected.
