Following their collaboration on 2017’s Furious 7, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham will be returning to our screens in the Fast and Furious spinoff Hobbs & Shaw. Although Dwayne and Jason’s characters don’t exactly get along in the movie, in real life they have a really sweet connection. Dwayne and Jason not only embrace and smile together when they go out in public, but they recently talked about their friendship in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “I think me and Dwayne share a very similar sense of humor,” Jason stated. “The only difference in us is the amount of weight he pushes when he’s doing a bench press.”

While chatting with Extra at the Hobbs & Shaw premiere in Los Angeles, Dwayne also made jokes about their bond. “This relationship that I have with Jason is a lot of fun,” he laughed. “With a guy like that . . . his ego is so big, like his head, you just got to placate the star.” Watch some of Dwayne and Jason’s most memorable interactions here!
