Dubai was once mentioned by American actor Will Smith as one of his favorite places on the planet. Additionally, it appears like karma is working in his favor. In the most recent social media ranking, he soared to the third rank thanks to a post from the top of the city’s famous skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa.

After sharing a video of himself atop the Burj Khalifa on Instagram, the actor amassed the third spot on Hollywood Reporter’s “Top Actors Social Media Chart”. 

“Dubai is perfect for me; I adore it. In the video, he claims, “Like I’m Dubai’s spirit animal.

Smith uploaded the video on March 2nd, but it wasn’t until October that it became viral and had over 7 million views on the platform.

Smith has visited Dubai before. He actually visits the city quite a bit. However, there was something about his most recent video that really went viral online. Perhaps it was the camera perspective, or perhaps it was the Burj Khalifa’s observation deck. In any case, millions of people were drawn to it in a matter of minutes.

Prior to this, Smith was placed No. 10 on the list. The most well-liked TV personalities are ranked weekly by Hollywood Reporter using information from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Google Plus.

Actor Dwayne Johnson of the United States (ranked No. 1) and actress Priyanka Chopra of India (ranked No. 2) ranked higher than Smith.
