Justin Bieber and Chance the Rapper donate $250,000 to fans affected by ‘Difficult Times’

The new song “Holy” by Justin Bieber and Chance the Rapper quickly raced to the top of the iTunes list thanks to the support of their fans, and now they’re giving back.

The 26-year-old singer and 27-year-old rapper posted the same message on their social media pages on Thursday, starting with the words, “Thanks for the love on Holy.”

“[We’re] partnering with Cash App to give away a total of $250k today to those affected by these hard times,” they said. Please share your tale with us if you would like. Use #JBChanceHoly and drop your $cashtag to enter.”

In response to Bieber’s tweet, a fan called Katy tweeted, “anything is greatly appreciated.” She said, “my house, my mothers house, and my boyfriends house all suffered so many damages indoor and outdoor from #HurricaneLaura on August 27.” She tweeted a screenshot of the $500 the pop artist sent her via Cash App shortly after that.

She added next to the screenshot, “JUSTIN, I AM SOBBING AND SHAKING AT WORK YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THIS WILL HELP US!” “You have my sincerest gratitude! I will always be grateful to you! I adore you so much! #JBCHANCEHOLY.
